Hide and Seek

Gor gor love to play this game, and he gets to learn counting. I love to play too... I will act like counting, I will say "tu tu tu" and I will start coming around to look for my victims 8) When is daddy turn to count I will be his spy and tell him where is gor gor hiding. Not difficult to find gor gor lor as he always hide at the same place and he always jump out before anyone get into him.

I am so proud of myself, as i could do shape sorting so well, think Mama really make an effort to train and teach me. My shape sorter got shape of star, moon, circle, rectangle, triangle, diamond, semi circle, oval, square, etc and i could identify them and put all by myself. I love to clap and cheer after I finish my job. I am so clever hor 8)

Today we went to poly clinic, after gorgor know that we are going for injection he refuse to follow us. Wander what is that? I enjoy having my parents accompany until the big needle is poke into my tight. I am rather upset and I am very angry and painful... I only cool down with a pack of cold drink 8) No not again, I heard they are going for another 1 soon. But luckily not like gorgor who took 3 jabs I only need to take 1 this time 8)

Clay fun too...

I am rather good girl while they are playing with clay and making model with it, I only get a bit upset when my hand is stuck with those sticky clay. I have lot of fun with those cover, open and close open and close. Poking them using the clay tools.

Flash Card

Don't think that my daddy neglect me ok, he did give me flash card weekly. I will look away, or do other things, or looking at those already flashed, or snatch away the cards most of the time...

Sometime if the topic catch my interest I will accommodate and participate while he is doing the card flashing... Like yesterday daddy show me a stack of cards on different types of monkey, I say Uu Uu Ah Ah for each of them and walk around like a monkey. +.+"

Jumping

I don't like to walk, I prefer jumping around! I think I am a frog or a rabbit in my past life, once you hold my hand I will start hopping around. I can hop pretty well on my own too. But if you hold my hand I can jump even higher 8)

Teething No more

Most of my teeth popped, I have a total of 16 and best of all, I sleep thru out the nite for the last 2 weeks. My parents are very happy about that as they don't need to wake up middle of the nite and I have my beauty sleep too.

There is a concert held @ Pasir Ris on Sunday, we chop a place to see those Jie Jie dancing and there is a show by act 3, nice performance.

I love Baby Signing Time... There really love to see my sign. I am a clever girl 8)

All by myself!

I love to act like a big girl 8) After all I am going to be 1.5yr old. I want to drink from straw or cup, don't give me those Baby bottle I am not a baby now.

I love to wear pants although I already wearing 1 but I don't mind wearing 2 or 3 pcs. I insist I am going to wear by myself, if I can't manage I throw tantrum inform of you!

I love to seat on car seat with seat belt buckle 8) I am a big girl now I can dose off on my seat too.

I love to feed myself too, about 30% of my food drop on the floor. At least 70% is into my little tummy.

I love to watch baby signing time, I can sign frog, horse, dog, cat, bird. Eat and Drink. Banana, Crackers, Milk and water. I am so clever hor.

Good Memories

After a week of ne ne less, I still trying my luck for it 8) Mommy was surprise that I have good memory. She still reject me lor and ask daddy to show his to me. His like raisin lor I cover his once I see it. See how long I will remember it.

*Mommy felt so sorry for not giving milk to me, her supply is very low now and is not enough for even 1 feed. Her health also getting from bad to worse she is getting migraine for nearly every day. She have to stop it. Is ok lah I miss it but I can live without it now. After all I am a big girl now 8)

3rd Day BMless

Although is already 3rd full day I go without BM, but I still pitifully asking for it. Mommy heart is melting, her breast is also going to burst, but for my own good, she refuse to let me hook on to it again.

Zoo Trip on Childrens' Day

Climbing

I love to climb and I climb up freely to my high chair. I love to climb and they bought a slide for me. Yes I am so happy!

I am BM free!

Yes, I am officially BMless. Am I happy? Not really I still protest for a while. I look for mommy and she rejected me, I am a bit upset but after watching BST I felt much better and I sleep by myself. Yes Hit 2 birds with 1 stone. I sleep from 10pm and will wake up at 6am for milk. No more BM so they got to wake up with me to feed me with FM. I am still cling to mommy and want her hug. After all I am just 17mths.

My Speech

I can speak pretty well, mommy love hearing me calling her... not ma ma ok ma ma is daddy's mommy... I called my mum, mummy with lot of love and joy when she come back from work. I say Ben 10, as that is my brother favourite cartoon. I say shoes. I am a clever girl hor 8)

Sabah After effect

I love to act like a monkey and sound like a monkey too... See I know what I see in my sabah trip I see monkey along the river. So you can keep hearing I say :OO OO AR AR... around the house most of the time and I try to walk like a monkey too.

Rayen the Builder

Rayen's Mom:

Not sure is it a norm for kids to build territories with bolsters. Both my kids did it, Justen used to have 10 bolsters and he used to stack them up before bed time and sleep on it. Rayen did the same things yesterday morning at 4am. She is pointing to the mattress next to our bed, but I don't know what she wants so I ask her to get what she need herself. She bring up a few big bolsters and start building her territories and lying on top of it. She only go back to sleep after I give her a bottle of milk think she is too hungry after the work out 8)

Need to be Changed

Gorgor is doing something with daddy in the study room. Mommy brough me into our bedroom and change me to my PJ... Gor Gor walk in after he finish his task. We brush our teeth together. Daddy ask gor gor change to his PJ, hey but what about me? Where is my PJ? I walk to the door and point to it, ask daddy to open the door, initially they tot I want to greet Ma Ma good nite but I walk to her room and start crying...

Daddy: Rainna, Rayen is not happy. She wants to change her PJ.
Mommy: Tell her she had changed her PJ already.
Daddy: I told her but she is still not happy.
Mommy: Give her a new top to stop her from weaning.

Happily walk back to the room after changing 8)

A voice from a mother of 2

Dear Mr Lee

The announcement on the recent rally is indeed a good news for most of the young parents and parents to be... As we seeing government is willing to give a helping hand to us, as a mother of 2 I actually agree on the direction of our government who wanted to increase the birth rate of singapore, but there are struggle for many people here as having more than 1 kid mean scarifying lifestyle and increasing of expenses. My younger girl is turning 4 months old soon, I just received a letter from my 3 years old son's school there will be a increase in school fee starting from 2009. As per mention on your rally there are plan to increase the subsidy to help us bringing up our children, we hope that you will look into helping on Kindergarten too, as all along the help is only grant to childcare but not those kindergarten like my son is attending. I didn't choose to let him attending childcare as he is taken care by his grandparents and I believe there should have a balance in study and family... Therefore we really hope that government will extend the helping hand to small kindergarten like what my son is attending.

When we only have 1 kid, we don't see the necessity of owning a car, as the public transport here is well developed and bring 1 out with 2 adults is not so tedious, no complain for us going to work during weekday too, but recently after the arrival of the new comer we find it rather difficult to move around without feeling the frustration especially when raining. So we finally come to the conclusion that owning a car might be a need to us. We are looking at weekend car which is designed for family, but to our surprise the weekend car only start from 3 pm on Saturday... Which mean our family time going outdoor can only start after that. According to people this system come out when most of the company is having 5 and half days work, but review from current trend most of the company, even government is having 5 days work so that we will have more time for the family. So isn't it true that the weekend car timing should be review too? I really hope that government will look into it. Thanks and best regards from a mother of 2...

Molar

My big teeth is cutting thru my gum and they are showing off 8)

Mommy love to look into my mouth while I am crying, she love to check on my teeth. She felt funny that my molar is out but I stop at my 4 front top and bottom teeth. No sign of popping for the rest of my teeth. She always tot that molar should come later, so I am a bit different from others. I am more greedy on food so I need my molar to chew.

Oh I am eating same food as what my brother is taking. I love rice and I like chewing.

Sore Eyes

I am weird lady... Normally I am healthy (touch wood!) but if I am not I got those weird weird problem, like croup when I am around 6mths old, hives after my birthday and now I have sore eyes 8(

Is it irritating, I keep rubbing it, my parents apply eye drop into my eyes it is irritating too 8(

We visit Allyson today and she say is kind of virus, I have no cough or flu... Just eyes infection. Hopefully I get well soon before our Kota Kinabalu trip 8)

About 16mths

My speech :- baby, Apple, Byebye happily waving both hand, Oh no with my hands placing on my waist, Orh when I drop something, water when I pointing to my bottle but mummy blur blur didn't know what I want so I have to tell her 8)

I still a food lover 8) I eat from raw vege to fruits to anything that I can eat 8)

I know measurement... If you make 180ml of FM for me I left 60ml, if you make 120ml I left 60ml too 8)

Ice Breaking Kisses :-
Something very sweet happen last week, my parents have a small arguement on something they can't remember, and I go to daddy and give him a kiss then I walk back to mommy and give her a kiss too. So they look at each other and smile.

Shopping for a Sofa

We went shopping on Sunday to get a seat while watching TV. Mommy like pooh but the rest of the family prefer Nemo... So daddy bring this back. Now I am a real couch potato...

Oh do you see the chain on my leg? Yes I only wear it recently as I love to move around the house silently so this is easier to spot me 8)
